Do you want to hear a ghost story?

A few years ago myself and a classmate in my vocational school program participated in an Interactive App and Game Design competition and we competed at a state level. We were learning C# at the time so we decided to go with Godot as our game engine. I quickly learned that most community resources for Godot are using GDScript, so to make things a little easier on myself, I learned that language along the way as I worked on the project. I did a lot of the art, all of the programming, and most of the writing as well. A lot of ideas I had were shot down because even though we both agreed on making a horror game, my teammate kept censoring my ideas (even going so far as to remove the word “knife” from the script) so I want to indulge in concepts I played around with but never got to flesh out. And with that, Bakegami was born. I’m currently a one man dev team but I get a lot of inspiration from my partner who is also into games and horror. This is a passion project, and while I’m not averse to working with others, this is first and foremost my baby and I will be very cautious when considering who I add to the project.
However, if you would like to offer a little help by playtesting, writing a review, or if you’re interested in collaborating with me in an area I’m not well versed in (such as music or SFX) please reach out! I would also love to have some YouTubers, streamers, or other content creators share my work with their audience so I can get more feedback. If you think you could fit in any of these roles, please reach out! I have a Contact form that you can use to send a message, or you can also get a hold of me at Necropolis144@pm.me.
